The WWLL’s 3rd Annual Hit-a-Thon starts right here, right now...and the finish line is at the big, community celebration on SATURDAY, JUNE 1st, 5pm at WWLL’s WARD FIELD - join us for a party filled with friendly competition, entertainment, food and fun for ALL ages (baseball and softball). Giving back, celebrating community and having fun is what this league is all about, so let’s play ball. * The virtual Hit-a-thon winning TEAM (top fundraising team) will be awarded the WORLD SERIES prize (including a team party and a swag bag filled with VIP prizes for each player)
* The virtual Hit-a-Thon winning PLAYER (top fundraising individual) will be awarded the MVP prize (VIP PLUS swag bag)
* Home Run Derby Winners on June 1st will be awarded SUPER prizes in each participating catagory (Majors, Minors, AAA, Rookies, etc)
* The party on June 1st will include food, games, music, Jack In the Dunk Tank and so much more!
HOW TO
STEP 1:

to “register” for the Hit-a-Thon
*Find your team listed under “team members”
STEP 2: (Your donation = your registration)
*Click the donate button under your team name to register
*$25+ donation enters you into the “virtual” Hit-a-Thon AND event on 6/1 (eligible for prizes, for ALL ages)
*$100+ donation enters into Home Run Derby on 6/1 (official home run derby is for Minor + Majors players; 10 balls pitched)
STEP 3: (IMPORTANT)
*In the “Personal Note” box, please indicate if the player name and if he/she is participating in the optional Home Run Derby
HELPFUL TIPS
* Send your team link to family and friends to support you in the virtual Hit-a-Thon (remind anyone donating on your half to add the players name to the “personal note” section so you can get credit and help your team win the World Series!)
* Post the Hit-a-Thon event information on Facebook to invite family/friends to the party on 6/1
The WWLL Hit-a-Thon: Home Runs for a Cause will benefit JDRF, the number one global organization leading research efforts for a cure for Type One Diabetes. Your donations will go directly to the local central Jersey JDRF chapter (www.jdrf.org). Donations are tax deductible, a receipt will emailed to you.
